Course Description

This camp will teach students about the different types of alternative energy technologies and their uses in the real world through hands-on modules and lessons. Students will construct wind turbines, solar cells, anemometers, and other forms of alternative energy. Students will discuss what energy management and energy conservation are and how it is used in the built environment. They will then relay what they’ve learned to their schools and homes. High School campers will also learn about possible career opportunities that involve the study of Alternative Energy.
