Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) has a variety of educational offerings that are flexible and innovative to meet local, state, and national needs. In an on campus setting, online, or through in-house custom programming, learners can begin, refocus, or advance their professional or educational careers. Courses, facilitated by Oakland University faculty and business leaders, combine research expertise and real world application to help you gain the knowledge you need to kick-start your life.

Guest Participants – At OU the definition of a guest includes patrons, customers or others who visit OU or OU owned properties not on a recurring basis and/or with no scheduled frequency. Guests do not need to be vaccinated or show a vaccination card. Masking, distancing, OU daily health check guest reporting and temperature check would be required as part of the program routine. Examples of guest participant programs would be youth programs (youth under the age of 12) camps, conferences, lessons, seminars or SAT/ACT.
PACE Courses and Programs* – Participants registered for in-person OU sponsored courses and programs will need to be fully vaccinated before the first session. In addition when attending class, masking, distancing, OU daily health check reporting (as a guest) and temperature check would be required as part of the program routine.
*Participants in fully online courses are not required to be vaccinated.
