Oakland University's Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning is registered with the CFP® Board of Standards in Washington, D.C. OU's program was one of the first in the country to be registered by the CFP® Board, and the program abides by all Board standards.

Refund Policy:
To be eligible for a 100% refund for the APEG Financial Planning Program that meets either in person, online or distance learning students may self-drop online as follows:

  • Any time before the program start date
  • Up to 7 days after the first program course start date
  • No refunds for tuition, books, or materials will occur after that time
