Course Description

Experience a day in the life of a biologist. This camp will provide middle school students with hands-on learning in Biological Sciences. Students will learn through fun, engaging experiments involving diverse topics, including genetics, microbiology, ecology and environmental biology. Students will conduct lab and field research projects that incorporate elements of STEAM-education.

This week-long camp will emphasize ways biologists work toward improving the quality of life for people and the planet. Students will explore the OU campus, visiting research labs, the OU Biological Preserve, and Campus Student Organic Farm. This camp will incorporate team building activities and project-based learning.
